Protaras is only a few kilometres from Ayia Napa and is a very popular area for weddings in Cyprus.  Probably because of the beautiful sandy beaches and blue lagoon waters of the Mediterranean which stretch for miles, the most well known being 'Fig Tree Bay'.

Protaras offers a multitude of interesting tavernas to sample the local Cypriot specialities along with International restaurants and theme bars.  Something for everyone!

Capo Bay Hotel (Civil Weddings)

The Capo Bay hotel is an excellent venue for your wedding in Cyprus.  The outside gazebo overlooks Fig Tree Bay with views of the beautiful blue seas.  There is also an indoor air conditioned room available. Civil weddings can be held at the hotel along with Blessings or Renewal of Vows.  Only one wedding accepted each day. The hotel provides white linen on the tables and chairs, all other decorations have been provided by MedWeds from our *Wedding Boutique finishing touches service.  Please contact MedWeds where we will be pleased to give you a quote to suit your individual needs for your wedding day. The Pavilion is normally available Wednesday and Thursday and we can provide decorations as shown in our gallery along with many other decorations and colours.  Just let us know your colour scheme and we can transform the Pavilion to a pretty wedding scene using white voile, silk flowers, pom poms, lanterns and organza to suit your colour scheme.

Cavo Maris Hotel
	Civil weddings can be performed in the Gazebo located in a beautiful unspoilt seafront location amongst extensive grass lawns and beautiful gardens which run down a fine Sandy beach, with crystal clear sea water. Constantinos the Great

Golden Coast Beach Hotel (Civil Weddings)

The Golden Coast offers civil weddings in the grounds of the hotel in a private area set to the side of the hotel.  The hotel provides white linen on the chairs and MedWeds can provide a decoration service of voile with silk flowers displays & coral lanterns.  The Civil ceremony area can be transformed into your reception area for the evening. Golden Coast Beach Hotel (Anglican Chapel Weddings)
Anglican Church weddings can also be performed in or outside the pretty Chapel in the hotel grounds.  Set in a paved square with a fountain, this is an excellent area for photography. This area can also be set up in the evening for your wedding reception. View Gallery | View Costs

Grecian Park Hotel (Civil Weddings)

The Grecian Park is a wonderful setting for your wedding.  The wedding ceremony is performed on a private grassed area with a canopy overlooking the Konnos Bay.  This bay is ideal for swimming and relaxing on the sandy beach. You must be resident at the hotel to marry at this venue.  For your reception there is the Seaview Marquee and Seaview Gazebo available which MedWeds can decorate for you.  For larger receptions the Poolside Bar is available.  If you wish to have a DJ in the evening then the White Bar is available for you to have a private wedding party. Illiada Hotel

St Elias Gardens

The Municipality have created a new garden venue for weddings in the St Elias Gardens.  MedWeds have used these gardens for photography over the seven year’s we have been co-ordinating weddings.  It is a relaxing area to enjoy your photography, and now you can marry in the grounds! We can provide a horse and carriage to take the bride to the gardens and then the bride and groom can leave for their reception venue with plenty of photo opportunities for everyone. Sunrise Beach Hotel (Civil Weddings)

The Sunrise Beach Hotel is on a beautiful sandy beach over looking the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean in Protaras.  With the Mediterranean on one side of the hotel and an abundance of restaurants, tavernas and bars to the rear of the hotel, this makes this hotel an ideal situation for everyone. The hotel has become very popular for weddings and two are performed each day at the hotel with two excellent outdoor venues in different areas of the hotel.  There is the Othello Terrace and the Sea View Garden Deck. Photos 1, 2, 3 & 4 are of the Sea View Garden Deck and weddings are normally performed in these areas later in the afternoon, whereas photos 5 & 6 are of the Othello Terrace.  Photos 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 have been decorated by MedWeds.
