2010 - Troodos Mountain Collection description from Paphos
This charming Anglican Church is set in the village of Troodos which is in the true heart of the Troodos Mountains. In 2003 MedWeds takes pride in having co-ordinated the first wedding ceremony ever performed in this Church.
The drive to this Church has some of the most spectacular scenery on the Island, and we have put together our Troodos Mountain Collections where you can all sit back and enjoy the views. Air-conditioned mini bus(s) are provided to collect the groom and guests from their accommodation in the Paphos area. The bride will travel in an air-conditioned wedding limousine to the Church and after the wedding ceremony the wedding limousine will then take the newly married couple to one of the most unique taverna’s in the Troodos mountains. The limousine will then leave and the bride and groom return on the mini bus(s) with all the guests at the end of the evening.
The Dean of the Cathedral in Nicosia*, will personally perform your wedding ceremony at St George in the Forest Church, Troodos. There is an organ* and also a belfry and both of these are included in the Troodos Mountain Collections. The Church will also be decorated by MedWeds. A cool box of water is provided for all the wedding party whilst photography is taking place after the wedding ceremony.
MedWeds wedding arrangement fee and personal wedding co-ordinators are included in these Troodos Mountain Collections. These Collections are based on 12, 20, 32, 40 or 60 people, but can be adjusted for any number of guests. A long bridal superior bouquet of roses, one or two round superior bridesmaid bouquets, 4 rose superior buttonholes and 2 rose superior corsages are included, along with a choice of wedding cake(s)** with cake stand and silver plated wedding knife, for photography purposes.
A photographer and videographer will be waiting at the Church to capture your wedding day, many photos will be taken, inside and outside the Church. All the proofs and negatives are included. A DVD is also included in the Troodos Mountain Collections for you to treasure and show to family and friends unable to be with you in Cyprus. The wedding album of 36 photos and DVD will be completed at one of the most beautiful taverna’s in the Troodos mountains where local Champagne for the bridal couple and guests and the wedding cake(s) will be waiting for you.
A meze is served at the reception where you can experience the many interesting dishes of dips, salads, meats, vegetables and fruits that Cyprus has to offer. This taverna is highly recommended, so you will be spoilt with one of the best meze you will ever experience. Unlimited village carafe red wine and water is included along with limited bottles of white wine. MedWeds will decorate the tables with personalised place cards, Bomboniere’s, table confetti and much more! Greek musicians, dancers or a DJ are also available.
After your reception you will all be driven back to your accommodation including the bride and groom in the air conditioned mini bus(s) where you can relax and reflect on the most unique wedding experience of a lifetime.
