2010 Olympian Collections - Terms and Conditions

The Olympian Collections include everything you need to marry in Cyprus except the Marriage Licence & Church fees (if applicable) which are required to be paid by yourselves as follows.  The Marriage Licence fee is €282.00 to be paid in Euros by yourself at the Town Hall appointment which we will arrange for you.  This fee is also to be paid if you are having an Anglican or Catholic wedding. If your wedding is in a hotel you are responsible for paying the hotel fees.

If you have booked an Anglican Church wedding (East Coast/Larnaca/Limassol) the relevant Church fees are to be paid by yourself direct to the Church in Euros which is €500.00.  If you cancel your wedding within 6 weeks from your wedding date there is a fee due to paid to the Church by yourselves of €250.00.

If your Anglican Church wedding is in Paphos you need to pay a deposit of €350.00 to the Church within 6 weeks from the date your wedding is confirmed and the balance of €350.00 is to paid in Euro cash in resort.

All Catholic weddings must be preceded with a Civil wedding.  A donation is required to pay the Catholic Church in the East Coast/Larnaca & Limassol. 

Paphos Catholic weddings there is a fee €650.00 to be paid in Euro cash in resort to the Catholic Church.

MedWeds offer the following services in the Olympian Collections

♥ MedWeds Wedding Arrangement fee to make all the necessary arrangements prior to your arrival in Cyprus for your wedding as follows.

♥ MedWeds wedding co-ordinator will meet with you normally the day after you arrive in Cyprus for a complimentary welcome drink and go through the paperwork required to obtain your Marriage Licence.  She will also go through all your arrangements for your wedding day.

♥ Transport by MedWeds and attendance to the Town Hall to obtain your Marriage Licence, where you will be required to submit all your paperwork to enable the Town Hall to obtain your licence to marry.  We may book a taxi which will be paid for by MedWeds.

♥ MedWeds will double check the arrangements for your wedding day.  We will also meet with you for a pre- wedding meeting, if you wish.

♥ On your wedding day MedWeds wedding co-ordinator will arrive in plenty of time to deliver your flowers and stay with the bridal couple and wedding party throughout the wedding ceremony until the last professional photograph is taken, normally with the pretend cutting of the cake for photography purposes.

♥ MedWeds are available to answer any queries you have regarding your wedding, and to help you as much or as little as you wish before and throughout your stay in Cyprus.

♥ MedWeds will take away the stress of all your arrangements while you can be relaxing in the sun before and after your wedding day once you arrive in Cyprus.

♥ These Collections cover all venues except if you are staying at the Columbia Beach Resort, Pissouri -Anassa Hotel, Polis, Larnaca, Limassol & Latchi.  Also if you are staying in a different area to where your wedding is booked you must inform MedWeds when booking and there is also an additional fee €100.00.  

2010 - This is what is included in the Olympian Collections

♥ Wedding cake(s)* some hotels have restrictions on wedding cakes from outside bakeries where MedWeds may not be able to supply your wedding cake(s), if this is the case MedWeds will refund the amount to you in your final requirements statement.  Refunds – Zeus & Artemis €60.00 Apollo €70.00.  Aphrodite €125.00.  Athena & Hera €200.00 & Poseidon €300.00.  Standard cakes are supplied in all of the Collections except Hera And Posiedon, but you may upgrade to special cakes and we will be pleased to give you a price.

♥ Hire of cake stand and decorated silver plated wedding knife for professional photography.  If you require the cake stand and knife to be left for the duration of your reception, there is a deposit in cash to be paid in resort.  Deposits - one tier cake stand and knife €125.00 & two or three tier cake stand with knife €250.00 this deposit must be paid in Euro cash, and when the goods are returned in good order the cash deposit will be returned.

♥ All wedding limousines are white Mercedes decorated with ribbons, rosettes or flowers.  We provide a 4 seater limousine in the Artemis Collection and a 6 seater** limousine in the Apollo Collection.  One 4 seater and one 6 seater** limousine is provided in the Aphrodite Collection.  Two 6 seater** limousines are provided in the Athena, Hera & Poseidon Collections. 

♥ Hera Collection has Vintage cars (Rolls Royce or Daimler)*** or stretch limousine**** or Horse and Carriage – subject to availability.

♥ Poseidon Collection has Vintage cars (Rolls Royce, Daimler) – subject to availability.

♥ Athena Collection has a choice of Village bus***** or mini bus***** to transport guests from their accommodation to wedding venue and onto the reception – 2 pick ups maximum.  If you require transport after your reception please ask MedWeds for a quote.

♥ Hera Collection has a choice of Village bus***** or large coach***** to transport guests from their accommodation to wedding venue and onto the reception – 2 pick ups maximum.  The Poseidon Collection offers 2 Village buses***** or 2 large coaches*****  If you require transport after your reception please ask MedWeds for a quote.

♥ Superior bouquets of flowers for the bride, bridesmaids, buttonholes and corsages are as stated in each Collection. There is a choice of flowers in the Athena & Hera Collections of either carnations, roses, lilies, cala lilies (only in season approximately April/beginning May) or gerberas.  The Poseidon Collection also has the choice of Cymbidium Orchids.

♥ 24 Photos with wedding album (Zeus) 36 Photos with wedding album all other Collections except Hera & Poseidon which is 50 photos with wedding album (without proofs or photos on disc).

♥ Sunset photos are included in the Poseidon Collection, we will either provide transport (if necessary) or book a taxi which will be paid for by MedWeds for the best sunset location.

♥ 30cm x 40cm enlarged photo, one may be selected (without frame) supplied in the Athena & Hera Collection.  In the Poseidon Collection you may select 2.

♥ A DVD is included in the Apollo, Aphrodite, Athena & Hera Collections  In the Poseidon Collection you will receive the DVD plus 2 extra copies.

♥ Bottle of French Champagne is given at our first meeting in all Collections.  This Champagne is for personal use and cannot be used at your wedding reception.

2010 Decorations which are included in the Olympian Collections

♥ Handmade Bomboniere’s (favours) with 5 sugared almonds which represent Health, Happiness, Fertility, Long Life and Wealth for adults.  There is a choice of Bomboniere’s for the ladies, gentlemen, children under 12 and babies under 2.  Ladies have a choice of colour of tulle.   Gentlemen receive tuxedo boxes in the Zeus, Artemis, Apollo & Aphrodite Collections.  In the Athena, Hera & Poseidon Collections you can choose either tuxedo boxes or top hats.  The top hats will be decorated to co-ordinate with the ladies colour tulle Bomboniere’s.  Children under 12 receive children’s boxes of either clowns or Disney filled with sweets.  Babies under 2 receive baby boxes filled with white chocolate.  Each Collection specifies the maximum number.  These are only given for the maximum number of guests at your wedding in Cyprus.  If you require more we will be pleased to give you a quote.  If you have less there is no refund.

♥ Handmade place cards with individual names made from ivory or white card with colour of decorations to suit your wedding theme are included in the Aphrodite, Athena , Hera & Poseidon Collections.  Each Collection specifies the maximum number.  These are only given for the maximum number of guests at your wedding in Cyprus.  If you require more we will be pleased to give you a quote.  If you have less there is no refund.

♥ Confetti cannons and or Confetti organza bags are supplied in Athena, Hera & Poseidon Collections, please see each Collection for the type and number supplied.  These are only given for the maximum number of guests at your wedding in Cyprus.

♥ Bubbles are supplied in the Hera & Poseidon Collections, please see each Collection for number supplied.  No refund given for less than the maximum supplied.  These are only given for the maximum number of guests at your wedding in Cyprus.

♥ Poseidon Collection includes special bookmarks to give to your wedding guests as a thank you for joining you in Cyprus – Maximum 150 guests.  No refund for less than 150 guests.  These are only given for the maximum number of guests at your wedding in Cyprus.

♥ Hera & Poseidon Collections provide a 2 metre Personalised wedding banner, with bridal couples names and wedding date.  These can be made longer please ask MedWeds for a quote.

♥ Poseidon Collection provides a choice of a Guest book and pen, please see our Finishing Touches for the  guest book you would prefer.

♥ Sunset cruise for the bridal couple is included in the Hera & Poseidon Collection.  Available in Ayia Napa, Derynia, Paphos and Protaras (subject to weather conditions)

Marriage Licence fee is set by the Government and can be subject to change at any time

The Church fees stated are for 2010
